Morning Workshop - ETHICS - 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (3 CEUs)
Social Work, Social Person: Finding Balance in the Context of Social Work Ethics
Presenter: Rob Edwards, MSW, LGSW, PACC
Social media cuts across domains of workplace, profession, family, friends, clients etc. Those entering the social work profession as well as seasoned social work professionals must understand the duality inherent in the use of social media as it relates to both clients and themselves. Social workers should be aware of both the tremendous value social media and the potential pitfalls. In being social and a social worker, social workers must bear the burden of using social media and new technology within the context of a code of ethics.
Afternoon Workshop - SUPERVISION - 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. (3 CEUs)
