Part One of NASW-MN Supervisor Certification* (15 CEUs)

You thrived at being a direct service provider & member of a team. Now, learn how to thrive as a supervisor.

Join us for highly interactive sessions that focus on group learning and case studies to strengthen your skills to better lead, manage, communicate with and motivate your staff.

On the journey from direct service to supervisor, you will learn:
• The difference between management and leadership
• How to create an engaged workplace
• How to create and maintain an effective relationship with your supervisor
• When to use coaching techniques with an employee
• Techniques and strategies for leading though change

Participants will take the DISC Management instrument to learn more about their own leadership style, and how it relates to others on their team. Each participant will receive a manual.

This is a four-part series that meets from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on the following Thursdays:

- January 30, 2020

- February 13, 2020

- February 27, 2020

- March 12, 2020 (end at 11:30 a.m.)

 

Registration will reserve your place for all four dates.

Maximum group size is 30 individuals in-person, and 10 online individuals.

Cost
$200 for NASW members
$300 for non-members

*Also complete Advanced Supervisor Training (15 CEUs) to become an NASW-MN Certified Supervisor, and meet the 30-hour requirement to be a social work license supervisor.
