Minnesota Higher Education/Faculty Listening Session: ASWB Exam Pass Rate Analysis
Open to Minnesota social work faculty ONLY.
Friday, September 30
12:00-1:30 p.m.
ASWB has released long-awaited data on pass rates for social work exams (https://www.aswb.org/exam/contributing-to-the-conversation/) - and the data confirm what has been anecdotally reported for several years: there are glaring disparities in pass rates among racial groups, particularly for Black test takers. It also raised concerns about disparities in pass rates for other demographics, including older adults.
It is time to act.
We invite all Minnesota social workers in higher education/social work faculty to join us in discussion about how we might address the inequities in the exams within our State.
THIS SESSION IS FOR MINNESOTA SOCIAL WORK FACULTY ONLY.
