Moving Beyond the Agency Safety Net - Social Work in Private Practice

Speaker: Sandra Kroll MSW, LICSW, Owner

This presentation will discuss the unique qualities social work brings to private practice - It’s more than just about how scary it can be to go solo. Come hear more about the practical business side and how the qualities of social work can make the journey easier than what may be expected.

About the Speaker:

Sandra Kroll is the owner of Refreshing Perspectives Therapy LLC. She holds her MSW from Boise State University, as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of California, San Diego and Bachelor of Arts in Mental Health Studies and Animal Assisted Therapy from Carroll College. Sandra has worked in the social services field for the past 10 years starting with community organization, transitioning to advocacy for the homeless and then direct practice in mental health. Her clinical background encompasses community mental health, acute and residential treatment for both children and adults as well as outpatient individual and family therapy. She is certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Since June of 2023, she has served on the board of directors for the Central Minnesota Arts Board.
