 In this one hour session we will discuss various dimensions of gender, current directives impacting this community, information on social drivers of health, and barriers that impact this community.

 

About the Speaker

Angel is registered Nurse with 25+ years’ of experience, most recently working on the Community Health Improvement team at CentraCare.  Angel’s focus includes providing Brave/Safe Space Training for CentraCare employees, community members, businesses, and professionals.  As a Registered Nurse, Angel wants to improve the health and equity of our LGBTQ+ community by educating others on the disparities they face and teaching others to be more inclusive of this community. Angel specializes in working with LGBTQ+ patients and their providers to navigate the medical, personal, and social needs of LGBTQ+ patients.  Angel’s goal is to serve our LGBTQ+ population with gratitude and purpose, so they feel supported and cared for.
