About the Presenter
Jenny Arneson, MSW, LGSW, has served as the Legislative Consultant for NASW-MN and the Coalition of Licensed Social Workers since 2021. An alumna of St. Olaf (BSW) and the University of Minnesota (MSW), Jenny’s career spans the full spectrum of the profession—from direct practice in emergency food services and county systems to high-level policy leadership. Driven by a passion for connecting grassroots experience to systemic change, she served on the Minneapolis School Board from 2011 through 2022 and has remained a steadfast advocate in the legislative arena ever since.
A proud Northeast Minneapolis native and military spouse, Jenny returned to her hometown after four years stationed at Fort Drum, NY. With her husband in the Army Reserves and her three sons now young adults, her cat, Ernie, now enjoys her undivided attention.
