Are you a student with questions about ethical practice in your internship during the pandemic? Are you working with interns or plan to be in the near future? With the changing landscape of internships due to COVID-19, this presentation will review the standards for technology and social work education for student internships, and discuss considerations for ethical standards in this context. The focus will be on agency needs, confidentiality, boundaries and professionalism. The presentation will highlight NASW Technology Standards in relation to student field work.

About the Presenter
Mandy Lilly is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She has field experience in geriatrics, health care, and hospice. Mandy is passionate about access and choice in health care. Her research focuses on self-determination ethics and ethical influences in student field internships.
