Supervision and Consultation

The Minnesota Board of Social Work requires that individuals working toward licensure be supervised by a professional. We offer courses throughout the year for qualified licensed social workers to become supervisors. View our flyer.

Looking for a license supervisor?

We can connect current NASW members with potential supervisors at no charge! We maintain a current list of qualified Social Work supervisors for all licensure categories. Contact us at admin.naswmn@socialworkers.org for more information.

Are you a supervisor looking for supervisees?

Get added to our supervisor list! If you're a current NASW member who can provide license supervision in Minnesota, contact us at admin.naswmn@socialworkers.org for the Supervisor Form, and we will send interested supervisees your way.

Disclaimer
Professionals appearing on this list have requested to be placed on this list, and have not been screened by NASW-MN. We recommend that you contact the  Minnesota Board of Social Work with any questions pertaining to statutory supervision requirements.

Supervisor Consultation Circles

NASW Members can join us on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 12-2 p.m. for our Supervisor Consultation Circles. Whether you are a new or experienced supervisor, these free sessions will allow an opportunity to consult with other supervisors on situations you face when providing group or individual supervision. Each session gets you 2 CEUs, and caps at 8 registrants. Check out our Events Calendar to register for upcoming dates.
